There is some intentional obscurity around the Timberwolf Massacre that will be resolved in the next books. It’s a bit out there, but this is fiction…sometimes life is more fun when you just go with it! There are a lot of sexual situations & if that’s not your scene, this series 100% is not for you. I was happy with the back story of her past & felt like the storyline was original. In spite of her necessarily cold exterior, she carries a heavy weight on her conscience because of her past. She makes it prettttyy difficult for anyone to consider her less than BA. What really did it for me was Hades being such a strong heroine.

I was happy with the narration - both narrators do a great job. This 1st book ends on a large cliff that might’ve been cruel if the 2nd book weren’t available yet! All aside from Hades’ relationship with Lucas is super slow-burn & will develop a lot more in the next book. I will preface this by saying that you have to commit to reading the series - or atleast past the 1st book, in order to see how things will turn out for Hades.
